Service is restored to more than 8,000 families: DTEK continues restoring power to the Donetsk region

Over the course of 24 hours, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored power to more than 8,000 families in the Donetsk region, left without electricity due to hostilities. The company continues restoring power supply, where possible.

Active military activities are at full swing in the Donetsk region. Despite difficult situation in the region energy workers managed to completely or partially restore power to 12 settlements, thus restoring power to homes of 8,167 families in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts of the Donetsk region. 

Residents of 234 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. 

The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka, where electrical equipment and power lines are being constantly damaged by shelling. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
