Most DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids customers chooses a three-phase connection

Customers who use electric heating, powerful appliances, or power tools, such as a welding machine, can get the most benefits from a three-phase connection. Three phases will distribute power evenly between devices and avoid voltage drop when switching on powerful household appliances.

To have a three-phase connection, please, apply to DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids. Your application can be submitted both remotely through an online account for connections or in-person in one of the customer service centers in Kyiv region by appointment. Within 10 days, the company will prepare technical conditions and invoices. After receiving the payment, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids will be able to start the required installation works and conclude a distribution agreement. In general, the standard network connection procedure, according to the Distribution System Code, can take up to 60 days.

Often, it is required to replace all wiring and install a new three-phase meter to transit to a three-phase connection. Therefore, before submitting such an application, please, ask an electrician about the technical feasibility of the indoor network to work on a three-phase scheme and, if necessary, upgrade it.
