DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids: how to give us a meter reading using a Household Customer Online Account
DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids has some convenient and simple services for customers to report their electricity meter readings and encourages to use them on time. One of these online services is a Household Customer Online Account. It is 100% remote, therefore there is no need to visit our Customer Service Centers.
Thanks to the Household Customer Online Account, which is on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids website, a customer can submit meter readings in a matter of minutes and track the amount of consumed electricity.
“DTEK strives to become the benchmark for customer focus and implements high-level service standards. We hear and understand how important it is for our customers to quickly resolve all issues related to the work of the company. To this end, remote services are quite useful, especially when submitting the readings. We often remind customers to take meter readings every month on the last day and report them to the distribution system operator within three days. If the readings are submitted in time, we could generate accurate consumption volumes for the calendar month, and thus the supplier could issue accurate electricity bills,” says Vitalii Shaida, CEO of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids.
If the customer is not registered in the Household Customer Online Account, then you need to follow some simple steps:
- Go to the website to the Customer Account section. Please note that the Customer Account section takes readings and processes data between 02 and 05 each month. Therefore, please, register your account on any other day;
- Fill in all the fields required for registration. Please, note that you should specify a customer account number and EIS code for registration. The Distribution System Operator's customer account number start with "2". The EIS code contains 16 characters (letters and numbers). It can be found in the distribution or supply contracts, or on your electricity bill;
After registration, the customer receives a confirmation by e-mail. Follow the link to activate your account.
Residents of the region should send data for consumed electricity to DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids, the Distribution System Operator (DSO). Then, the DSO submits this information to the supplier, who generates an invoice.
