Fast and reliable: how to report meter readings using DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids remote services

DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids reminds that the end of the month is the time to submit the electricity meter readings. A chatbot, a website and other convenient self-service services are available for the residents of the region, using which you can report your reading simply and quickly. The company also shares some tips on how to correctly record the readings of a day/night meter.

According to the law, each customer of the distribution system operator needs to record the meter readings on the last day monthly and submit them within three days. If a customer sends his meter reading on time, then the company can form accurate consumption volumes for a calendar month, and the universal service provider can send out accurate electricity billing.

DTEK is a responsible, reliable company that offers the services to report meter readings quickly and conveniently.

  • "Merezhi Online" mobile application (the application is available in the AppStore and Google Play Market);
  • Web forms on the website, no registration needed. In the section you should select the area, indicate your customer number, type of your meter and corresponding readings;
  • Customer account on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids website;
  • Voice menu for sending readings automatically. Call by phones (044) 4590740, (067) 4957040, (093) 495-70-40 or (099) 495-70-40 and hit 2. Then follow the voice prompts;

Readme. If the customer has a day/night meter, then the readings should be sent per each zone - day and night. The data is displayed sequentially on the display of such a meter: the amount of electricity used in general and separately for the day and night tariffs, date, operating time of the device, etc. To take readings, you should wait for the needed information to appear on the display or press enter to change data until the required information appears. Various types of meters display the zones per different indexes. The DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids customers have the following:

  • GAMA type meter: the day zone on the display will be shown with the index 1.5.8.2, and the night zone - 1.5.8.1;
  • NiK meter: the day zone is 1.8.2 or 1.5.8.2, and the night zone is 1.8.3 or 1.5.8.1;
  • NP or MTX meter, the day zone is A2 or 1.8.2, and the night zone is A1 or 1.8.3;
