Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to 70 settlements in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to shelling

From March 13 to 19, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to completely or partially restore power to 70 settlements in the Donetsk region, affected by hostilities, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 50,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible. Since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company have restored power to more than 4.1 mln families* in the Donetsk region.

Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore electricity to residents of 70 settlements, thus restoring access to electricity for 50,403 families in the Donetsk region.  In particular, yesterday energy workers have restored electricity to 4,400 families in 8 settlements.  Donetsk region remains an arena of active hostilities. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues its offensive in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions, where over 60 enemy attacks have been repelled yesterday alone.  Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Therefore, 110 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.  DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 390 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.  To contact the company, please use official information channels only.
