Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore electricity to residents of 70 settlements, thus restoring access to electricity for 50,403 families in the Donetsk region. In particular, yesterday energy workers have restored electricity to 4,400 families in 8 settlements. Donetsk region remains an arena of active hostilities. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues its offensive in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions, where over 60 enemy attacks have been repelled yesterday alone. Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Therefore, 110 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
