DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 20,500 families over the course of the day

On August 14, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 16 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 20,538 homes of residents of the frontline Donetsk region. 

Donetsk region continues to remain an arena of active hostilities. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled 10 settlements of the Donetsk region over the course of the day. 

Shelling of the Donetsk region is ongoing and continues to destroy grids and equipment. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 904 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
