DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 200,000 families in February
Massive shelling of the Donetsk region continued in February, causing damage to the energy infrastructure daily. Last month, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to residents of 307 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of 195,762 families.
Overall, since February 24 last year, specialists of the energy company have restored electricity to more than 4 mln* families in the Donetsk region.
The situation with shelling remains very difficult in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy concentrates main efforts on conducting an offensive in Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions. For instance, 170 enemy attacks were repelled in the indicated areas yesterday alone.
Due to constant shelling, 107 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
