DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 4,000 families over the course of the day

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 11 settlements, thus restoring power to 4,382 families in the frontline region. 

Fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, shelling of the region continues, affecting both settlements near the frontline and the relatively distant ones. In particular, yesterday the enemy destroyed the dam of one of the water reservoirs in the region. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 112 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 457 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
