Electricity distribution agreement for an apartment or house can now be concluded online – DTEK Grids

DTEK Grids launched an updated customer account with a function of concluding agreements online. Ukrainians can share a copy of passport via Diia application for automatic filling of personal data, thus facilitating application submission procedure. An online conclusion of the agreement is available to residents of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odesa regions, as well as the city of Kyiv. This service will be useful for customers, who bought a new home, change the owner or want to reissue documents in Ukraine from abroad.

Despite the war and difficult situation in the country, DTEK continues to develop convenient customer services. An online conclusion of agreement enables customers to quickly and easily submit an application for electricity distribution completely remotely. The service will be of help to new customers, residents of multistoried buildings during transition to the “direct” contractual relations between customers and Distribution System Operators, as well as to those, who need to reissue an agreement due to the change of the apartment or house owner.

The service is available on the Distribution System Operators websites. And sharing of documents via Diia allows user to share a copy of an ID card or an international passport in few clicks for automatic filling of required personal data fields. This saves customers’ time during an application submission. At the same time, if the user does not have a passport in the Diia app — it is possible to fill the data manually.

“DTEK Grids launches a new service — online conclusion of an agreement with convenient and quick submission of personal data via Diia app. Today, our customers no longer need to visit service centers in person and spend a lot of time on that. Transition to the direct electricity distribution agreement can be carried out completely online, via a smartphone and Diia,” – says Ruslan Volynets, Customer Interaction Director at DTEK Grids.

Conclusion of an agreement consists of 3 steps, submission of an application on the website takes less than 5 minutes.

  • The Customer applies for agreement conclusion in the user account on the Distribution System Operator website. Passport sharing via Diia can be used for automatic filling of personal data;
  • The company checks an application and prepares a package of documents within three working days;
  • The Customer receives documents or clarification questions in the user account and on his email;

“Sharing of the document via Diia is a convenient way of sharing personal information in a few clicks, that saves users time and energy, and eliminates possible mistakes that happen when a customer fills the data manually, – noted Denys Ivanov, electronic services implementation team lead at the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. – The Diia team is constantly working on facilitating the documents flow process. For that, it provides convenient and useful services for government institutions and business. A copy of the document is sent to the company only after the user confirms his request in the Diia app. This request contains information about who this copy is sent to and for which service.”

These user account features are available on PC with Windows or MacOS operating systems and on Android or iOS mobile devices.
