A power distribution contract with DTEK Kyiv Grids can now be signed online
‘The new service will prove a comfortable solution during the quarantine and when it ends. Customers need not anymore to visit the company’s offices to sign a distribution contact. From now on, this can be done online. This helps saving time and straightforward the procedure,’ reported DTEK Kyiv Grids CEO Maris Kunickis.
To enjoy new online service, the customer has to make 6 simple steps:
- To visit DTEK Kyiv Grids website, go to a special section and read a public distribution agreement.
- To download all forms to be filled in.
- To fill is and sign the documents downloaded from the website.
- To scan or make a good-quality photo of the filled in and signed documents.
- To fill in an online form and attached scanned copies of the signed documents to it along with a scanned copy of a passport; a scanned copy of an identification number certificate; a scanned copy of a document evidencing the ownership or the right to use a house or an apartment; and a scanned copy of a written consent of a co-owner (if any) to the execution of the contract.
- To press the ‘Send’ button.
Immediately after the documents were send, the customer will receive a confirmation that the documents have been accepted. After that, documents will be processed by responsible employees with DTEK Kyiv Grids. They will review the documents, and in case of any questions or errors, will ask the applicant to make relevant corrections. If the documents meet the company’s requirements, the customer will receive a scanned copy of the documents signed by the company confirming that the customer has acceded to the distribution contract.
‘Customers have availed themselves of our remote services on more than 102 thousand occasions during the first month of the quarantine. They submitted their meter readers, filed requests for repairs to metering devices, ordered connection, or just received advice they required at the time. Now, our customers can also become a party to the electricity distribution agreements in just a few clicks while staying home,’ summarized Maris Kunickis.
Just to remind that due to the COVID-19 outbreak, DTEK Kyiv Grids has introduced remote customer services starting from 17 March, and a majority of its administrative personnel have been working from home. The company’s employees use every effort to secure reliable electricity supply and perform emergency response operations around the clock.
