Partners’ aid: DTEK Dnipro Grids received 4 transformers for restoration of energy equipment after the strikes
New transformers will be installed at the substations, where equipment was destroyed. Putting it into operation will make it possible to restore operation of the affected facilities and bring back the stable power circuit for up to 15,000 consumers in the region.
Besides, new transformers will help improve reliability of the grids and ensure uninterrupted operation of the critical infrastructure.
“Every attack on the energy infrastructure is a challenge for our specialists and for thousands of families that may be left without electricity. The transformers received will make it possible to repair damaged substations and restore stable power supply to the people. We are grateful to our international partners for support that helps strengthen the stability of the region’s energy system,” ‒ noted DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk.
As informed earlier, since the beginning of the full-scale war, energy workers repaired 344 substations, transformer and distribution points, as well as 2,603 power lines in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Despite systematic enemy attacks and repeated destruction, 97% of the damaged energy infrastructure have already been restored. Restoration activities are carried out after every attack.
