DTEK energy workers together with all rescue services continue to eliminate consequences of russia’s attacks on power facilities on November 23. The situation remains difficult, but manageable. As of the morning of November 24, electricity has been restored to 30% of consumers in the region, primarily to the critical infrastructure facilities: water supply and hospitals. Restoration of electricity to the entire region is ongoing.

Over the night, electricity has been restored to all power facilities that provide voltage to the Right bank of the Kyiv region. As of 15:00 November 24, we also continue repairing DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids lines, damaged on November 23 due to bad weather — freezing rain and freezing of power lines. 97 crews of energy workers are restoring electricity supply for a number of household customers, left without electricity since yesterday.

At the same time, in accordance with the order of a system operator NPC Ukrenergo, emergency limitations of electricity supply are taking place in the Kyiv region. Therefore, some consumers are temporarily without electricity in accordance with the energy system’s needs. Electricity shall be restored to these consumers after stabilization of the situation in the energy system, at the direction of the Ukrenergo dispatcher and after completion of repairs on the lines, damaged due to bad weather. About 70% of the Kyiv region residents are currently without electricity.

The situation in the energy system after another russia’s terrorist missile attack is extremely difficult. Energy workers are working 24/7, doing everything possible to restore electricity to people as soon as possible. We ask all customers to treat electricity consumption as responsibly as possible in order to help the energy system.
