DTEK Dnipro Grids provided recommendations on how and when to submit meter readings to ensure correct billing for electricity
Meter readings are to be submitted to the Distribution System Operator (DSO). After that, data related to the used volumes is provided to the supplier, who generates bills. For the billing to represent actual data and not the estimated one, it is better to do it during the period from 30 day of the current month to 3 day of the next one. There are user-friendly remote services available in DTEK Dnipro Grids for convenient submission of readings. They help submit data while not leaving your home, using internet and smartphone, PC or notebook.
“DTEK Dnipro Grids continues to develop modern customer services and provides opportunity to use various methods of meter readings submission. We recommend residents of the region to submit it monthly, including during the martial law. Even if the customer had to leave the country and, thus, is not using electricity – it is better to duplicate previous readings. It will help avoid differences between estimated and actually consumed volume of electricity, while supplier will be able to provide billing only for the actually consumed electricity,” – underscored the company.
In order to submit meter readings the customer should only know his DTEK Dnipro Grids user account number (you can find it on the website or in the contact center of the company). If you have a two-zone meter, please prepare your “day” and “night” readings:
- For a GAMA type meter, the day readings are displayed with the “1.8.1” index, and the night readings – with “1.8.2” index;
- Meter of a NiK brand displays day reading as "T11", and night readings as "T12";
- If you have an STK type meter, then E1 stands for day, and E2 stands for night;
Please choose the most convenient channel and submit monthly:
1) via a convenient web form on the website that does not require additional registration. Select your district, provide your user account number, number of zones on your meter and readings per zones;
2) Viber and Telegram chatbot. Enter “DTEK Dnipro Grids” in the search bar;
3) IVR voice menu for automatic submission of readings. Please, call (056/066/067/063) 790-99-00, 0-800-301-497 and press 2. Then, follow the prompts for successful registration of readings;
4) user account on the DTEK Dnipro Grids website;
Important. If the customer failed to timely submit information, then he is billed based on the forecasted (average daily) rather than actual consumption volume. The customer can submit readings during the billing period next month and Distribution System Operator will perform adjustment based on the volume of actually consumed electricity.
Timely registration and submission of meter readings, as well as timely payment for received services will ensure stable operation of DTEK Dnipro Grids, and thus – reliable and uninterrupted power supply in the Dnipropetrovsk region during the war.
