DTEK Dnipro Grids changes the scheduled outage plan to ensure the customers comfort during the New Year's days
Scheduled maintenances are a must to ensure the electrical equipment stable operation in the Dnipropetrovsk region. They are required to keep the lights on and minimize power cuts as much as possible. It is impossible to do most of such work without de-energizing the electrical equipment. The safety of company people and citizens who are near the maintenance site depends on this.
“DTEK strives to become the standard of customer focus. We recognize how important it is for our customers to spend the New Year's holidays at home with lights on, warmth, and comfort. This is especially true during the wintertime and cold weather. Therefore, we have adjusted our work plan so that scheduled maintenances on the power grid do not bother residents of the region. We also strengthened our repair crews, who will monitor the power supply throughout the New Year holidays,” said Andriy Tereshchuk, Head of DTEK Dnipro Grids.
You can check information about power cuts in the corresponding section on the company's website. If your address is there, that means that our energy workers already know about an outage and are busy restoring the power supply. If you have not found your address, please, report the power cut to the DTEK Dnipro Grids call center either on the company's website, by phone (056/066/067) 790 99 00, via the Facebook page or Viber and Telegram chatbot.
Meanwhile, the company urges the customers to follow some simple energy efficiency principles in winter:
- Distribute the load. Turn on powerful appliances one at a time. This is especially true for buildings built before 2000, since most of them are not designed for high network loads
- Try to avoid peak hours. Usually, between 7:00AM and 11:00AM and between 8:00PM and 10:00PM, there is a peak load on the network, both in a single apartment and in the area;
- Use heating devices, dishwashers and washing machines at night to avoid load surges
- Check if you have an electrician's contact information at hand, because if a problem with the power supply is in the house, then this issue should be resolved by the person responsible for the inhouse networks:
- - A balance holder or a manager of your house (condominium, management company, etc.) if you live in an apartment;
- - An owner if you live in the detached house;
If there is a power shutoff because of overloads, try to turn all powerful appliances off and then turn the circuit breaker on. If your power still knocks out, please, contact an electrician. Do not try to fix it yourself, it is unsafe!
