DTEK Dnipro Grids is eliminating consequences of the storm

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews are eliminating consequences of the storm that occurred on the night of July 21. Thunderstorm and squall wind left 30 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region without electricity. Dnipro district suffered the most. Energy workers are putting maximum effort to promptly restore electricity to every home.

Thunderstorm and squall wind on the night of July 21 left 30 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region without electricity – 17 completely and 13 partially. The majority was in the Dnipro district. 19 overhead lines were damaged and 184 transformer substations were de-energized, leaving 5,769 families without electricity.

Energy workers are putting maximum effort to restore electricity to customers’ homes. DTEK Dnipro Grids has engaged 16 crews (40 employees and 16 pieces of machinery) to eliminate consequences of the storm. Emergency and restoration activities in the region are to be completed by the end of the day
