DTEK Dnipro Grids is reconstructing an overhead line in the Samarsky District in Dnipro
Major repairs are now being carried out in the area of houses No. 2-46, 5-57 in Dovzhenko street. It is needed to do this work because of the technical and moral obsolescence of the electrical infrastructure in this residential area. Air networks were built here in the 70s of the last century and have already exhausted their resources. Therefore, the company consistently upgrades them.
“DTEK is transforming its business by introducing European standards of customer service. We use a customer-centric approach, when assessing our infrastructure every year. Therefore, we are planning our work, focusing on the benefits that they will bring to our customers. The new 0.4 kV line will replace the old one, which was built on Dovzhenko Street more than half a century ago. It will provide a reliable and uninterrupted power supply for residents of almost 60 houses,” says Andrii Tereshchuk, CEO of DTEK Dnipro Grids.
The upgraded electrical lines will be made of insulated wire (aerial bundled cable) with an increased cross-section. They are more resistant to negative environmental influences (rain, snow, sun, wind, tree branches), safe (they are isolated) and will last for more than a dozen years.
In addition to the new cable, 17 poles will be replaced as part of the overhaul.
DTEK Dnipro Grids notifies residents that residents of Dovzhenko Street may have power outages on weekdays from 8:00AM to 5:00PM until the end of April during major repairs. This is needed to ensure the safe work performance. You can find out about such scheduled outages in advance on the company's website.
As previously reported, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers reconstructed the electrical grids of the AND and the Central District of Dnipro in March. In total, in 2021, the energy company will invest more than 1 billion hryvnia in the electrical infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
In addition, DTEK Dnipro Grids is consistently improving remote services for customers. So, a chatbot on Telegram and Viber has been launched in 2021, which is now available for all the residents in the region. Using this new communication channel, customers can submit meter readings, report emergency situations, and get answers to pressing questions.
As usual, customers can get the company's services 24/7 through the website, Facebook page and call center by calling +38 (056/066/067) 790-99-00.
