On January 30, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored electricity to homes of more than 4,700 families in 6 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region, de-energized due to shelling. Our specialists commence work immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists have restored power to residents of 6 settlements of the region, left without electricity the day before due to shelling from the occupied territories, thus restoring electricity to 4,725 families.

Due to close proximity to the area of hostilities, the south part of the Dnipropetrovsk region regularly suffers from de-energization. Energy workers have to repair lines, damaged by shelling, and restore electricity almost every day.

DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists conduct work immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

After a series of russia’s missile strikes the situation in the Ukrainian energy system remains difficult. Significant power shortage causes daily power outages throughout the country. Therefore, we ask to treat electricity consumption responsibly – after outages, switch on energy-consuming appliances in turn and minimize electricity consumption.
