DTEK Dnipro Grids restores service in 58 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk region
The Nikopol area witnessed the most outages after the snowstorms. It was quite challenging to reach the affected areas, because of blocked roads. Therefore, the company needed to involve heavy equipment.
There are still however around 9,000 customers without electricity in the region. There is absolutely no power in 20 settlements, and partially in 33 more settlements. The work is still in progress. If there are no new outages, the power will be fully restored by the end of the day.
“DTEK is a reliable and responsible company that cares about its customers. The company involved more than 120 of our energy workers and 59 pieces of equipment to recover from outages. Our repair crews have been put on full alert. They are making every effort to quickly return the power to our customers. Over the past 24 hours, power supply has been restored in 58 rural settlements,” said Andrey Tereshchuk, Head of DTEK Dnipro Grids.
