DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity to 2,600 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers have restored power to 2,600 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were shelled the day before. Despite shelling and difficult situation with hostilities, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer regular enemy shelling that frequently damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

On August 25, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 2,604 families in settlements that suffered enemy air attacks.  

About 300 families remain without electricity. Soon, energy workers will restore electricity to their homes as well.
