DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity to more than 11,000 families after shelling

Over the course of the day, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored electricity to more than 11,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were affected by shelling of the region and restored power to the waterworks. Our specialists commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

On September 23, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists managed to restore power to homes of 11,316 families in the Nikopol district. Besides, energy workers restored electricity to the local waterworks that was also de-energized due to the shelling. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have promptly repaired infrastructure of the grids once they obtained a permit for repairs from the SES and AFU. 

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from shelling that frequently damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews continue to repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible.
