DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity to 23,000 homes, de-energized due to bad weather

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 73 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were completely or partially de-energized due to bad weather yesterday. Energy workers put maximum effort to restore electricity to every home as soon as possible. Power supply is now fully restored. 23,000 families of residents of the region have electricity again.

On May 24, thunderstorms and strong wind caused damage to lines and partial shutdowns in 73 settlements of the region. Bad weather disabled 26 transformer substations and 31 overhead lines. The majority of shutdowns occurred in Kamianske, Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih districts. 

DTEK Dnipro Grids has engaged 26 emergency and repair crews to eliminate consequences of bad weather.  

Over the course of the day, energy workers managed to restore power to all de-energized settlements. By 11:15, specialist have completely restored operation of all damaged lines and de-energized transformer substations, and restored electricity to 23,000 homes of residents of the region.
