DTEK Dnipro Grids continues to eliminate power outages, caused by bad weather

Bad weather is ongoing in the region, leading to new outages in the grids.

As of Tuesday morning, 58 overhead lines and 440 transformer substations have been de-energized. More than 16,000 families in 122 settlements remain without electricity. All these are new outages that occurred since the evening of December 11. They are mostly caused by falling of frozen tree branches on the wires.

77 specialists of DTEK Dnipro Grids and 28 items of machinery are engaged to promptly eliminate emergencies. They work in the high alert mode in order to restore power supply as soon as possible.

Adverse weather conditions remain in the Dnipropetrovsk region, thus making new power outages in the region possible.

Please be careful, follow safety rules and do not approach the power lines during bad weather.
