DTEK Dnipro Grids has restored power to more than 10,000 families, left without electricity due to shelling
The enemy continues to shell the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region from the occupied territories, regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.
On February 7, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 10,500 families in 4 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region, de-energized due to shelling on the night of February 7. By the morning, power was completely restored to the affected districts. Additionally, application of backup power circuits helped restore operation of the pump station that ensures water supply to the affected community.
Despite constant threat, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews continue to repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The work is carried out immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU.
The situation in the energy system remains difficult. We ask all customers to support energy workers in their fight on the energy front. To do that, please consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices in turn and minimize electricity consumption during peak load hours from 07.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 22.00 in the evening.
