Despite constant enemy shelling, yesterday DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews restored power to more than 10,000 homes in 30 frontline settlements of the region. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the Donetsk region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission to perform works.

On February 16, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists restored power to 16 settlements of the region, thus restoring electricity to 10,354 families.

Active hostilities are ongoing in the Donetsk region, causing constant destruction of the energy infrastructure of the region, damaging grids and equipment. Emergency crews of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 724 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
