DTEK Donetsk Grids chatbot is a convenient meter readings submission service

The time has come to submit meter readings. There are remote channels and online services functioning in DTEK Donetsk Grids that make it possible for every customer to submit readings in time and in a convenient manner. The most convenient and user-friendly service is a Viber and Telegram chatbot. Its main advantage is a round-the-clock customer service.

DTEK Donetsk Grids recommends all household customers use Viber and Telegram chatbot to submit meter readings in a matter of minutes. And for the billing to represent actual data and not the estimated one, it is better to submit readings during the last 2 days of the current month and the first 3 days of the next one. Timely submitted meter readings will help avoid differences between estimated and actually consumed volumes of electricity, while the supplier will be able to provide billing for the actually consumed electricity only.

“DTEK continues to develop modern online services and created convenient and user-friendly remote channels for quick submission of meter readings. Since the launch of a chatbot, the company constantly upgrades its functionality. Over 2,000 customers are now actively using it,” – underscored the company.

In order to start using chatbot, please:

  • enter “DTEK Donetsk Grids” in the search bar of Viber or Telegram messenger;
  • pass verification procedure (for unregistered customers);
  • select “submit meter readings” in the menu and follow menu prompts to submit informationl;

 Meanwhile, there are remote channels and online services available in DTEK Donetsk Grids for meter readings submission. You can use the most convenient one:

  • IVR menu of the contact center, by pressing “2”: or mobile phones +38 (093/096/099) 450 0473, 0-800-301-497;
  • Customer user account or Submit meter readings web form that does not require additional registration on the company’s website;
  • Official Facebook;

Important. DTEK recommends residents of the Donetsk region to submit meter readings every month using remote services. Even if the customer had to temporarily leave his home and, correspondingly, is not using electricity – it is mandatory to duplicate previous readings. Timely submitted information about electricity consumed helps calculate exact volumes of electricity consumption for the calendar month, while allowing the provider company to generate bills for consumed electricity.
