DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 1,200 families in the Donetsk region over the course of a day

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to 3 settlements in the Donetsk region, affected by shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of 1,200 families. Energy workers are doing everything possible to promptly restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Despite the difficult situation with shelling in the region, on April 8 DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to 3 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 1,230 families.

Shelling is underway in the Donetsk region, continuing to damage the energy infrastructure of the region. Due to constant destruction of the grids and inability to repair some of them, 109 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 410 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
