DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to homes of more than 7,000 families in 14 settlements over the course of the day

On June 15, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore power to 14 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to more than 7,000 families. Specialists of the energy company make every effort to restore power supply once it becomes possible.

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore power to 14 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 7,552 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, Vuhledar community has been shelled from artillery 17 times over the course of the day. Other communities of the region are being shelled as well. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 108 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 478 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
