DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 8,000 families in the region
On August 27, DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to completely or partially restore power to 11 settlements in Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts, thus restoring electricity to 8,239 families in the Donetsk region.
Intensity of hostilities and shelling remains high in the region. Nevertheless, specialists of the energy company continue to restore electricity once it becomes possible. Over the course of a day, power was restored to 5,545 families in Toretsk community and another 2,689 families in Bakhmut community. Works were also carried out in Sloviansk and Marinka communities.
86 settlements remain without electricity due to active hostilities and energy workers not having a permit for work performance. The most difficult directions remain Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 186 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
