DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to homes of 16,000 families

On July 8 and 9, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to 43 settlements, de-energized due to hostilities, thus restoring electricity to more than 16,600 families in the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to promptly restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 43 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to 16,635 families. 

Due to constant hostilities, 106 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 501 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
