DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 18,700 families over the course of a week

Large-scale enemy shelling of the Donetsk region continued last week. Over this period of time, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 73 settlements, thus restoring power to 18,693 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the region, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 12 times yesterday. In particular, outskirts of Pokrovsk and Sloviansk were hit by a missile strike. 

Due to constant shelling, specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 782 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company restored electricity to a total of more than 7.3 mln families* in the Donetsk region.
