DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 73,500 homes over the course of a week

From July 1 to 7, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to residents of 85 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for 73,500 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible. Since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company have restored power supply to a total of more than 7.9 mln families* in the Donetsk region.

Despite heavy fighting in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 85 settlements over the course of a week, thus restoring access to electricity for 73,521 families in the Donetsk region.

Including the weekend, when energy workers restored electricity to 5,200 families in 9 settlements, de-energized due to enemy shelling.

Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
