Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to conduct a number of grids repairs and restore electricity to 9 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to homes of almost 6,000 families. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the Donetsk region once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

On June 16, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to completely or partially restore power to 9 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 5,938 families.

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the General Staff, the most intense situation remains on the Pokrovsk direction.

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
