From December 9 to 15, energy workers of the DTEK Grids DSO managed to completely or partially restore power to 29 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 77,000 families in Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

Last week, energy workers continued eliminating consequences of enemy shelling. The majority – in the Dnipropetrovsk region, which regularly suffers from consequences of enemy shelling, especially the south of the region, located close to the area of hostilities. From December 9 to 15, our specialists here managed to restore electricity to 31,200 families.

The enemy also does not stop attacking the Odesa region, where shelling again damaged grids last week, leaving 30,800 families without power supply. Energy workers restored electricity as soon as it was possible once the sappers and the military permitted.

Donetsk region, in its turn, continues to remain an area of the most active hostilities. Despite constant threat, specialists of the energy company restore the grids once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for repairs. Over the week, they managed to restore power to homes of 15,500 families here.

“The enemy continues to attack the energy system of our country. Energy workers continue to hold the energy front and eliminate consequences of shelling for 1,027 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 16.2 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
