DTEK Donetsk Grids continues repairs of grids: electricity restored to 30 settlements yesterday

On September 17, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to residents of 30 settlements, affected by hostilities in the region. Access to electricity has been restored for 33,600 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Despite constant enemy shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 30 settlements in the frontline Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 33,602 families yesterday. 

Enemy attacks do not subside in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 17 times yesterday. 

Meanwhile, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow and are working non-stop for 938 days in a row. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
