DTEK Donetsk Grids continues restoration activities: electricity has been restored to homes of 122,000 families over the course of a week
Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore power to 69 settlements, thus restoring access to electricity for 122,755 families in the frontline Donetsk region.
Including Sunday, when energy workers were able to repair a number of damages and restore electricity to 10,000 families in 18 settlements, affected by constant shelling of the region.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, Vuhledar suffered 2 air attacks and was shelled 13 times over the course of the day. Avdiivka was shelled 9 times, Kurakhove community – 4 times.
108 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
