DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 190,000 families over the course of February
Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. Constant shelling keeps destroying grids and equipment. Despite all risks, energy workers continue repairs. In February, they were able to restore electricity to residents of 190 settlements, thus restoring power to 189,655 homes.
Emergency crews of the energy company repair lines, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power to settlements, affected by shelling. However, energy workers do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 740 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
