Despite constant hostilities, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to restore electricity to 13 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of 11,600 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 13 settlements, de-energized by shelling, thus restoring access to electricity for 11,649 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult. Constant shelling continues to destroy grids and equipment. Meanwhile, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow and are working non-stop for 926 days in a row. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
