DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 63,000 families in 87 settlements over the course of a week

From July 10 to 16, despite constant shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids and equipment damage, thus restoring power to more than 63,000 families in 87 settlements, de-energized due to hostilities. Besides, over the weekend energy workers have restored electricity to more than 15,000 families in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to bad weather. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 87 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for 63,491 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy concentrates main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Marinka, Avdiivka and Kupiansk directions, where 36 clashes took place over the course of the day. 

106 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

Bad weather also added some work for the energy workers: over the weekend, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored electricity to more than 15,000 families, affected by power outages caused by heavy rain and hurricane wind. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 510 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
