DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to 7 settlements over the course of the day

On May 27, despite constant shelling of the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to residents of 7 settlements, thus restoring power to homes of 1,759 families.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 16 times yesterday. Shelling continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, demolishing the energy infrastructure in particular. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 825 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
