Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 47,000 homes in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to shelling
On November 15, specialists of the energy company continued to repair energy equipment after hostilities. DTEK Donets Grids emergency and repair crews managed to access a number of grids damages, repair it and restore power to 81 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 47,000 residents of the frontline region.
For instance, specialists of the energy company were able to promptly restore power to 25,000 residents of 81 settlements, de-energized after the targeted enemy attack on one of the power facilities of the region on the night of November 16.
Despite the difficult security situation in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have promptly restored operation of 18 substations and by 6:49 restored electricity to the homes, de-energized due to shelling.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to escalation of hostilities, constant shelling, missile and air strikes. Damage of energy equipment is ongoing, as well as restoration activities. Last week alone, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore electricity to 40,000 families in 69 settlements, de-energized due to shelling.
