DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to more than 14,000 families over the course of the day

On May 15, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to conduct repairs and restore electricity to residents of 9 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of more than 14,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to residents of 9 settlements, affected by hostilities in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 14,062 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult. In particular, according to the Ministry of Defense, there were 2 missile attacks on Kostiantynivka yesterday. The enemy continues to concentrate main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 112 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
