Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to residents of 2 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 2,700 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

On July 22, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, got to a number of grid damages, repaired it and restored power to 8 settlements, thus restoring power to 2,782 families. 

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. Shelling continues to destroy grids and equipment. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 881 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
