DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to 8 settlements, de-energized due to shelling

Shelling in the Donetsk region does not subside. Nevertheless, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore electricity to 8 settlements over the course of the day, thus restoring power to homes of 3,400 families. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the frontline region once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 8 settlements, de-energized due to shelling in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 3,470 families. 

Hostilities in the Donetsk region do not stop. According to the General Staff, 8 settlements of the region were hit by air strikes yesterday. Artillery shelling is ongoing too. 

Active hostilities in the Donetsk region constantly damage grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 686 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
