DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 17,200 homes, de-energized due to bad weather and shelling in the Donetsk region

Bad weather returned to the Donetsk region. Gale-force wind and heavy rain caused a number of destructions: fallen trees, damaged power lines and equipment. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have already managed to restore operation of 135 transformer substations and restore power to 3 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 14,800 families, de-energized due to bad weather. Energy workers continue to work on restoration of power supply to 149 transformer substations and restoration of electricity to 10,700 homes. Reminder: bad weather raged in the Donetsk region just a week ago.

Meanwhile, active hostilities do not subside in the Donetsk region. Shelling, missile and air strikes continue. Yesterday energy workers managed to restore power to 20 settlements, de-energized due to enemy attacks in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 2,400 homes. Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Over 70 crews of the energy company continue to work on repairs of the grids in the region.
