DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 8,400 families of the region

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to 4 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to more than 8,400 families, de-energized due to shelling. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the frontline region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

The enemy continues to attack peaceful towns in the Donetsk region, destroying energy infrastructure of the region, in particular. Despite all challenges, energy workers continue to repair grids and equipment, damaged by shelling. Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore power to 4 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 8,463 residents of the frontline Donetsk region.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to constant enemy shelling, missile and air strikes. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, on July 5, rf’s forces killed 11 more civil residents of the Donetsk region, wounding 43 persons.

Constant shelling, missile and air strikes continue to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
