DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 2,000 families over the course of the day

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to residents of 8 settlements, affected by shelling of the region, thus restoring access to electricity for almost 2,000 families. Energy workers continue to repair the damaged grids once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 8 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 1,822 families. 

Heavy fighting continues in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy keeps concentrating main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Kupiansk directions, where more than 35 clashes took place over the course of the day. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 111 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
