“DTEK is a reliable partner of the community and our main goal is reliable, accident-free power supply to our clients. Upgrade of two high-voltage lines will significantly improve the power supply of the front-line town of Avdiivka and adjacent towns. This is almost 40 thousand residents, – said Alexey Degtyarev, General Director of DTEK Donetsk Grids. "46 power towers, more than 100 insulators, and 18.6 km of cable will be replaced as part of the modernization."

The lines supplying the Avdiivka and the Karlovsk filtering station intersect. Power engineers will temporarily discinnect the Kotlyarevska-Karlovka line on September 24 and October 5 for safety reasons. Power towers will be replaced on September 24, and cables will be connected on October 5.

At the same time, other clients will not remain without power – they will be connected per a redundant circuit during the repair activities.

The Karlovsk filtering station supplies water to the Pokrovskaya, Selidovskaya and Dobropolskaya city units.
