DTEK Donetsk Grids to upgrade the energy infrastructure in Kramatorsk

DTEK Donetsk Grids continues improving the reliability and quality of power supply. In 2021, power engineers will reconstruct two distribution points, three cable and overhead power lines. This will improve the quality and reliability of power supply for 10,000 residents in Kramatorsk.

“DTEK is transforming its business by introducing high-level standards of customer service. We use a customer-focused approach. Thus, we assess annually our infrastructure and plan our work focusing on the benefits that they will bring to our customers. So in 2021, two distribution points on Kurchenko Street and Kramatorsky Boulevard will be reconstructed in Kramatorsk. This will ensure a reliable and uninterrupted power supply for more than 7,200 of our customers,” says Oleksii Degtiarev, DTEK Donetsk Grids CEO.

Reconstruction of distribution points No. 16 and 10, replacement of outdated equipment with high-tech equipment that meets up-to-date requirements will ensure that there is power in homes of residents of Ostap Vishnya, Yubileinaya, Dvortsovaya, Parkova, Kurchenko streets, and Kramatorskiy blvd.

To improve the reliability of the power grids, the power engineers will also reconstruct old, out-of-date 6 kV power transmission lines in the Stary Horod and Novy Svet Districts. Two new cable and one overhead lines with a total length of 2 km will significantly improve power supply to more than 3,000 residents of Centralnaya, Lermontov, Orlik, Starogorodskaya, Shkolnaya, 1st Gornaya, Klubnaya and Khokhlenko streets.
