DTEK Donetsk Grids repaired the energy infrastructure of 189 hospitals in Donetsk Region

For 9 months, the power company specialists have performed overhaul and maintenance of 492 transformer substations, replaced more than 112 km of cables. Special attention was given to medical facilities. The electrical infrastructure of 189 hospitals, including 14 infectious hospitals, was checked and repaired in the region.

We are consistently upgrading the energy infrastructure of cities and towns. We are making it more reliable and modern for clients living even in the most remote areas and settlements, - says Oleksii Degtyarev, DTEK Donetsk Grids Director General. - We pay special attention to medical and social facilities. For 9 months we have checked the power equipment of all hospitals in the region, and performed the necessary repairs. For example, in October our specialists built an additional line for the infectious hospital in Pokrovsk”.

This year, a lot of attention was also paid to the repair of defective poles. 1266 poles were replaced in the Aleksandrivsky, Velikonovoselkivsky, Lymansky, Nikolsky Districts. This improved the power supply to residents.

DTEK Donetsk Grids consistently restores power supply to settlements in the “gray zone” that were left without electricity after shelling. In 2020, the company's specialists restored the operation of 2 high-voltage lines, 12 medium and low voltage lines, and 112 transformer substations. This made it possible to restore power supply to residents of 37 frontline settlements.
