DTEK Donetsk Grids continues restoration of the grids: electricity has been restored to more than 17,000 families

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore electricity to residents of 6 settlements, de-energized due to hostilities, thus restoring power to more than 17,000 families in three districts of the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing their best to promptly restore power supply in the region, as far as it is possible during hostilities.

On September 27, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 6 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 17,378 families in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts.

In particular, yesterday energy workers, with the permission of the military, managed to restore electricity to homes of more than 15,000 families of Toretsk community. Additionally, company’s specialists have restored power to more than 2,000 families of Marinka community and performed a number of works in Sloviansk community.

Active fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Constant attempts of enemy’s offensive are accompanied by massive shelling of the entire region. According to the President of Ukraine, the most difficult situation is currently in the Donetsk region.

81 settlements of the region remain without electricity. The most difficult directions remain Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk and Marinka. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
